5. BATLA HOUSE

With perfect ratio of emotions & technical details, this John Abraham starrer is equally gripping and valuable as per the contemporary situation of nation!

4. BADLA

This official remake of Spanish film 'The Invisible Guest' is really thrilling, unpredictable and clever. What more you want? Badla is a perfect mystery thriller with several layers.

3. PHOTOGRAPH

The director of 'Lunchbox' - Ritesh Batra came back with a heart wrenching masterpiece - Photograph. A melodious, poetic, tranquil, sentimental romantic drama with brilliant screen presence of Nawaz and Sanya.

2. SECTION 375

Section 375 is truly an Un-Bollywood-ish court room drama. Unbiased flow, brilliant acting, superb editing, directions, change of perspective and straight forward approach made this less hyped film a memorable masterpiece!

It's a mirror which reflects the bitter truth of society about which we hardly care about. A brave, powerful, top notch film making with dark undertones and huge relevance. A remarkable work of art!

Honourable Mentions: From the inspiring 'Super 30', patriotic 'Uri', 'India's Most Wanted' to the modern comedy 'Lukka Chuppi' was among good films of the year!
